Brothers Alexis & Nicolas Kugel opened their new gallery to such excitement that it's now known as 'The Kugel Experience.' Visiting the spectacular Palladian hotel in particular - which was restored by Interior Decorator François-Joseph Graf - is like stepping into the most refined museum, where everything is on sale! Visit all three floors and spy (or buy) such treasures as the pair of royal tureens made for George III, the portrait of Charles-Henry Delacroix, and the Venetian rock crystal, silver-gilt and lacquer created around 1600. The gallery offers the top of the top ranging from the medieval to the 1850s.

Paris Tel: 01 45 08 44 94
Off the fashion beaten track (it's near Chatelet) but worth a visit if colorful costume jewelry - ranging from the 1930s to 1960s - appeals. Necklaces swinging with luscious red cherries, strings of large beads resembling bonbons, bangles galore for Nancy Cunard wannabes and all at seriously reasonable prices.
