Last night’s episode of The City had drama, dining, and lots of DVF! Diane herself was on hand to check in with Whitney and make sure she was settling in. There were also great shots of the Wonder Woman party that was held at the store in October to celebrate the collection and the launch of Be the Wonder Woman You Can Be comic book.

Be the Wonder Woman You Can Be!
The Wonder Woman phenomenon continues. Since launching Be the Wonder Woman You Can Be in October, the limited edition comic book and Wonder Woman-inspired collection has been celebrated all over the world, from New York to Paris to Belgium.
Most recently, the book’s message of empowering women and giving back gets a major “wow” from columnist Liz Smith on her website wowOwow. Check out what Liz has to say about Wonder Woman and take some time to surf her site.
Wonder Woman on the wall
Last night, DVF Paris celebrated the launch of the Wonder Woman collection and the Be the Wonder Woman You Can Be comic series with a full on fête. The wall outside our Rue Francois 1er shop was illuminated with full-size projection of Wonder Woman and the inside was filled with fabulous femmes. Since launching the collection and comic series in New York in October, DVF’s Wonder Woman message has been spreading the globe (London, Brussels, and France), and women have been snapping up the limited editions items and collection.

Last week, DVF was in London to celebrate the launch of the Wonder Woman-inspired collection for Holiday and her comic book “Be the Wonder Woman You Can Be: The Adventures of Diva, Viva, and Fifa.” The Bruton Street DVF store was filled to the brim with wonder women like Trudie Styler, Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece, and British Vogue’s editor-in-chief, Alexandra Shulman. The event drew over 200 people to Mayfair and was also the talk of the town (see what CNN had to say).

The new collection is in stores, and already we’ve seen a few of our favorite women wearing the Wonder Woman-inspired looks. Debra Messing wore the Maupati long wrap dress to the launch party for DVF’s comic book this past week, while Rosario Dawson chose the Jiwon dress in gold when she attended the premier for Oliver Stone’s new Bush biopic W.
