The party took place last Thursday at old-is-new-again club Le Montana on the Left Bank, and was to celebrate the new Spring/Summer issue.

With the Slumdog Millionaire sweep at the Oscars, everyone can’t stop talking about India. And while we love Freida Pinto, we’re also taking notice of another Indian actress, Asin Thottumkal. Originally from Kerala, she is one of the most popular South Indian actresses, and can now hold claim to a Bollywood title as well! This past weekend at the 54th Filmfare Awards in Mumbai (the Oscars of Bollywood), Asin won Best Debut Actress for her role in Ghajini. For her first major award show, she wore the Nikki gown from DVF (from the Holiday collection). And while it is no longer in stores, there are plenty of other purple options this Spring. So congrats Asin… next stop, Hollywood?
