The long-awaited photos of the DVF-designed suites at Claridge’s Hotel are finally here! And they are just as beautiful as we had imagined.

Florals, animal prints, and yards of luxurious fabrics are core elements. Mixed together they create a timeless elegance found only at Diane’s favorite hotel in the world. Bold purple against chartreuse in one room, hot red florals in another, and clean white and black geometric print round out suites that will make any traveler feel at home.

We are excited to announce the debut of the DVF suites for Claridge’s in London! Diane’s favorite hotel in the world, the Claridge’s is the Art Deco jewel of London, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have a DVF home there.
 
Four of the 20 suites have been completed, revealing animal-print, luxurious fabrics, Chinese florals, and nature-inspired décor. A visual diary of Diane’s travels, the feeling is wall-to-wall glamour but with very personal touches - photographs taken by Diane are like souvenirs left behind in each space.

Daylesford Organic Shop

London is a heaven for culture vultures and shopping and restaurant addicts, and no matter how many times you have been there is always something new to eat, do, or see.

Theater: See Sylvie Guillem perform in Push at Sadler’s Wells thru June 27th. Or if you can, get tickets to see Jude Law in Hamlet at the Wyndham’s West End.

Art: The Saatchi Gallery in the Duke of York square. The current exhibit, Abstract American is very playful. Also at the White Cube Mason’s Yard gallery the Tracey Emin show ‘Those who suffer Love,’ is a very beautiful and personal show.

Food: In Pimlico, stop by the Daylesford Organic Shop. Sit inside the all marbled store where everything is from the farm, it is a rather healthy and luxurious place. Also visit Clerkenwell, the latest it neighborhood, and eat at the Modern Pantry (right around the corner from Zaha Hadid’s offices).

Shops: For antiques, try Pimlico Road or James Worrall on Church Street in Marylebone. But always visit Dover Street Market, just to see what they have going on and to have a light lunch on the top floor.

Last week, DVF was in London to celebrate the launch of the Wonder Woman-inspired collection for Holiday and her comic book “Be the Wonder Woman You Can Be: The Adventures of Diva, Viva, and Fifa.” The Bruton Street DVF store was filled to the brim with wonder women like Trudie Styler, Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece, and British Vogue’s editor-in-chief, Alexandra Shulman. The event drew over 200 people to Mayfair and was also the talk of the town (see what CNN had to say).
