Yesterday, DVF presented its Cruise/Pre-Spring 2009/2010 Collection…Her Name is Rio. Inspired by the girls of Ipanema and continuing the DVF concept of La Petite Valise, the collection featured perfect-to-pack pieces for wherever a day or night might take you. Lightweight cashmeres, printed chiffons, and lots of bright colors, it was also about optimism and fun!
Two DVFs are better than one!

Wearing DVF is all about making it your own and being yourself. And no where is that more apparent than in the halls of our New York HQ. On any given day employees are taking pieces from seasons past, present, and future, pairing it with clothing from their closet…and voila, a look to love!

Why we love it: Because she totally knows how to mix and match two of our favorite trends from Resort – florals and stripes – and she makes it look easy. Just add a pair of worn in denims and a long necklace and this feminine top and tailored jacket goes from proper to perfect. Who would have thought that these two would work so well together? Fortunately, Lauren did.

When the weather is gray and chilly (global warming aside, we hear tomorrow is supposed to be in the 60s) nothing brightens up our day like a little winter floral around the office. The halls of DVF Studio have been blooming with black tulips – a print from our La Petite Valise collection.
