In this day and age, small businesses are more important then ever - DVF started from a suitcase full of dresses, after all. That’s why we are proud to be a part of NBC Universal and American Express™ Shine A Light program. The program gives small businesses down the street an opportunity to grow by receiving an 100,000-dollar grant (50K in grant and 50K in marketing support), and they are giving YOU, the public an opportunity to nominate your favorite local businesses. The top 150 nominees will then be evaluated by a team of entrepreneurial judges, including Ellen DeGeneres, msnbc, JJ Ramberg and Diane!
