What do you love most about Diane?
The thing I love most about Diane is her goal to make all women feel beautiful within their own bodies. Her beautiful designs just welcome the female body no matter what size, shape, or color that you may be. Another thing that I love is her fearlessness to dabble in every color on the palette. Unlike other designers, each season she will always create that amazing go-to black frock, but will always ensure that you have an “out there” piece that makes you think “Hmmm what if?”.

Why do you choose to wear DVF?
I know I’m always purchasing a piece that will stick with me for years to come. All the DVF designed pieces are stitched remarkably and never once have I had to bring any of my DVF clothing to the tailor for repairs of any sort. The feeling of that slipping on a brand new 100% silk wrap dress (or shirt!) is nothing short of pure amazement. I feel like a million bucks when I step out of the house and it shows in the smile I wear all day long. One of my favorite reasons to wear DVF is the versatility that her clothing presents. Unlike other items in my closet that may only be designed for work or play, a large majority of the DVF line can bring you from day to night in one smooth transition. And believe me there have been many times that after a busy day at the office, 5pm cocktails with the ladies happened a lot quicker with my smart choice of wardrobe that morning.

Tell us about your first time wearing DVF…
The first time I wore DVF was a black wrap dress I had borrowed from one of my cousins. It was for nothing more than a dinner party with friends, but man did I feel like a million bucks. Ever since I have slowly built up my DVF collection and have about 12 pieces total.

Ahh yes my engagement, I’m still glowing can you tell? It was an absolutely amazing night at the Ocean Edge Resort in Brewster, MA on their amazing terrace that over-looks the Cape Cod bay. My handsome fiancé Teddy had a private section set up for just the two of us with champagne, candles, flowers—the whole nine yards. We celebrated the whole night long with the other guests, simply put it was the most amazing night of my life. And obviously as the first pictures of the engaged couple were sent out to basically everyone in our phone books, I was pretty happy with my wardrobe choice for that evening.
