That’s right, you can follow Inside DVF on Twitter and our boutiques in New York, Los Angeles, Coral Gables, Bal Harbour, Las Vegas and London! They’ll keep you posted on new arrivals, best sellers, their seasonal favorites, as well as in store events and maybe a special offer or surprise every now and then. Dine…at Café Orlin… Pumpkin pancakes in the East Village sound good, don’t they? They are simply delicious and even though Halloween is over, tis the season for pumpkin eating.

See and Eat… a piece of Will Cotton’s masterpieces. Cotton creates images that viewers normally dream of eating but now you actually can for a limited time! Partners & Spade, the downtown Manhattan storefront-studio-gallery run by marketing maestros Andy Spade and Anthony Sperduto, is bringing “The Will Cotton Bakery” to life on three Sundays in November (Nov. 8, 15 & 22, 2009). Cotton is a connoisseur of desserts as you may know from his work. Partners & Spade is at 40 Great Jones Street.

Listen… to Ancient Paths, Modern Voices: A Festival Celebrating Chinese Culture that pays tribute to a vibrant culture and its influence around the globe with 21 days of events and exhibitions at Carnegie Hall, New York City. It features Chinese musicians, including artists and ensembles traveling outside of China for the first time, performing myriad genres of music. This festival also includes traditional marionette theater, dance, exhibitions and more.

One of our favorite events, Lucky Shops, just got even more favorite. This year, the annual shopping party has chosen Dress for Success as its charity partner and DVF is proud to be a part of the Shop for Success boutique, where all the proceeds will benefit Dress for Success. In addition to DVF look for one-of-a-kind vintage pieces. The event kicks of with a VIP night on Thursday (where 50% of the ticket proceeds will also go towards Dress for Success), and continues through the weekend with all-day shopping on Friday and Saturday.

We have to admit we’ve always been a little obsessed with Christopher Walken – but artist John W. Codling takes it to whole new level with his exhibit “Sundays with Chris,” on display at the DVF gallery through this weekend. He began the series earlier this year, when the Market tanked and he sought solace in painting, and suddenly realized that all he was painting was Christopher Walken. Profit from the sale of the artwork will go to Team Continuum, a non-profit organization assisting cancer patients and their families.

Eat and Drink… At Corsino, the new spot from Jason Denton of inoteca fame. Like restaurants before it, the focus is on wine, cheese, small plates, not to mention, brisket meatballs and homemade pastas. Welcome to the neighborhood.

Watch… Those runners through the finish line run the NYC marathon this Sunday! The race attracts many world-class athletes not just for the grand prize of $600,000 but for the thrill of crossing the finish line. After forty years the marathon continues to grow in size and is the leader among marathons around the globe. Best of Luck to the runners, including DVF’er Stephanie White who is running to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society!
