With mother’s day around the corner, Diane von Furstenberg, Georgina Champan, Liya Kebede and Christy Turlington Burns hosted a celebration for mothers at DVF studio yesterday evening. The event was highlighted by a sneak peak of No Woman, No Cry, a documentary by Christy Turlington Burns that focuses on maternal mortality and raising money for the White Ribbon Alliance. The WRA is an organization that promotes safe pregnancy and childbirth for women and newborns worldwide. This year Diane has continued to show her support for the organization by creating a T-shirt with one of her signature mantras, “Love is Life,” spelled out in white ribbon on the shirt.
