New York's Fall Window

New York's Fall Window

Fall has arrived at our New York windows this month, so if you’re in the neighborhood pop by the shop!   The inspiration for the July window was taken from, of course, our wandering woman, the nomad. The window displays a desert scene, blending her fall fashion with her surroundings. Check out her leather Leggy pants (a must!) and Rufio black cardi/jacket – perfect for snuggling up this season. So roll up your yurt and take a trip to 14th and Washington.

STARS WEEK JULY 27
Tuesday, July 28th, 2009

ARIES

March 20 – April 18

Urgent as things seem, this week’s more about talk than action. You’re assessing the impact of events triggered by recent eclipses on your work or lifestyle. Equally, you’re discussing others’ plans and view of changes. Whatever conclusions you draw, keep things loose until after the final eclipse of this cycle, in early August, which promises to introduce yet more unexpected twists.

TAURUS

April 19 — May 19

After a period of upheaval, this week’s stunning developments are so unexpected that you’re wary. Besides, taking advantage of them would require changes beyond anything you’d anticipated. At least explore these. Once things are clearer, you’ll realise how well they’d fit into new arrangements. Still, you’ve reached only the halfway point in changes, so regard any arrangements as flexible.

GEMINI

May 20 — June 20

Others may be complaining nonstop about the chaos triggered by July’s eclipses, but you’ve spotted the potential in even disruptive developments. Discuss this. Unenthusiastic as the initial reception may be, by the week’s close you’ve created a lively and worthwhile exchange. Ordinarily you’d start making plans, but with early August’s eclipse shaking things up further, ideally these will wait.

CANCER

June 21 — July 21

The recent Cancer eclipsed New Moon will have shaken up circumstances as much as it did your perspective on your life and future, so the current talkative mood is timely. Pose questions and listen carefully to others’ answers. While you won’t necessarily take their advice, getting a range of perspectives stimulates your own thinking and leads to ultimately worthwhile alliances.

LEO

July 22 — August 21

The sudden developments triggered by July’s two eclipses have forced you to review arrangements you’ve regarded as rock solid. Obviously, this is disruptive. But it also opens your mind to previously unappealing options or those just now appearing. Explore these with your customary zeal, always conscious that nothing can be considered final until after late August’s Leo New Moon.

VIRGO

August 22 — September 21

While you may already be aware of certain reasons you should keep your thoughts to yourself, frank discussions reveal others. As you gather facts and learn more about others’ views, you begin making suggestions. This takes discipline but ensures that by early August, when your ruler Mercury finally moves into Virgo, you’ll be well informed enough to say what needs saying.

LIBRA

September 22 — October 22

If ever there were a time to accept any and all offers graciously, it’s now. True, some may be overwhelming or simply not fit. However, by the week’s close, what’s emerged regarding changes in existing arrangements and the shifting views of others alters your perspective considerably. Still, ensure decisions are tentative, as yet more changes are coming.

SCORPIO

October 23 — November 21

By now you’ve undoubtedly noticed how once pivotal arrangements have changed – or in certain cases, simply vanished. While the disappearance of some is worrying, seeing others go has been an unexpected relief. It’s also opened the door to new activities. A few have long been on your mind but others appear from nowhere. Explore them all but avoid solid commitments.

SAGITTARIUS

November 22 — December 20

Everybody else has been complaining about the chaos caused by unexpected twists and turns, but you’ve spotted the promise in these changes. Finally, during this week, others recognise how worthwhile even unsettling developments could be. And even then, these insights surface only gradually. Still, although discussions require uncharacteristic patience, it’s well justified by what you learn.

CAPRICORN

December 21 – January 18

Once you understand this week’s about assembling plans, but finalising nothing, you’ll actually enjoy its seemingly endless discussions. Each reveals a new side of recent developments but, more importantly, offers a fresh take on necessary alterations in various areas of your life. Do more listening than talking. What you learn will contribute substantially to the far-reaching changes that, ultimately, you make.

AQUARIUS

January 19 — February 17

Decisions seem urgent but, actually, during this week just prior to the potentially life-changing Aquarius eclipsed Full Moon, you’re better off meditating on what works and what doesn’t. Acknowledging the latter ends struggles to justify burdensome friendships or obligations. Better yet, it frees you to embrace the remarkable cycle of change that begins in early August.

PISCES

February 18 — March 19

For ages you’ve felt that certain wonderful ideas weren’t being given adequate attention, but your efforts to get others interested achieved little. Now it all changes. Discussions about these and new, if disruptive, concerns fill the week. Once again, there’s reluctance to take things further. Be patient. While you’ve spotted their promise, not everybody is as quick on the pick up.
