How do you wear a dress that is neither a maxi or a mini? How do you make a summer dress feel less like a day at the beach? And when is it OK to mix brights and prints without going overboard? You’ve got questions, and luckily this DVF’er had an answer.

Who: Meredith

What: Dewitt dress in Arcadia, $365 at DVF.com and in stores.

Way: A little platform heel lightens up this mid calf length. Combine that with a more full coverage sandal in black suede and you are on point with the Spring time weather. To give the floaty frock some edge, add a little leather jacket or pick up on one of the more subtle shades in the print (here the yellow tint) and go all out with a cardigan that pops!
