TIME 100
May 7th, 2009
If you haven’t picked up a copy of this week’s TIME, then it’s about time. The mag names the TIME 100, the worlds most influential people. The list includes some amazing women, among them Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton, and a woman that DVF is proud to know and support, Vital Voices Global Leader Somaly Mam. Sold into sexual slavery at the age of 12, her story is told by Angelina Jolie. But we hope you’ll want to learn more about the Somaly Mam foundation and also about the tremendous impact that this one woman has had on countless other victims.
