MET BALL 2009
May 5th, 2009

Tony and Eva in the car
I have been to the Met Ball Benefit for the Costume Institute for decades and 2009 was maybe one of the best ones!!!
Of course the dozens and dozens of gorgeous models did add to the beautiful atmosphere and the mood. The Museum stairs and corridors were covered in zebra carpeting and the Temple of Dendur was turned into an Egyptian fantasy of the old El Morocco.
The exhibition curated by Harold Koda was really fun and daring, but I will have to go back another time to enjoy it. I was too busy taking photos until my camera flew on the marble floor and broke!!
At my table I had the loveliest bunch: Eva Longoria in a tight black DVF, Rosario Dawson in a coral chiffon DVF, Natalia Vodianova in a vintage Fortuny, Paula Sutter in a floral DVF and Anne McNally in a Giambattista peacock frock.
The food was delicious and when Kayne West began to sing, the whole crowd started to dance into the night.
