In our ongoing celebration of International Women’s Day, we have been asking inspirational woman from various fields about what makes them Proud to be Woman, or “PTBW.” Next up: actress Molly Sims.

What inspires you? Giving. Helping people that need help, you end up growing yourself as a person.  In terms of work, I’m inspired by great theater.

What makes you proud to be a woman? I feel that I have a say in this world, I have a part in this world, and I feel like I have a voice that is heard.

What are you celebrating this month? The women around me.  My friends, my colleagues, my mother, their advice, their strength, has given me power as a woman, and continues to give me power on an everyday basis.
