DVF's Lunch box

Not even the torrential rains last night could keep people away from Milk Studios, where the preview benefit for the Lunch Box Auction was taking place. Hosted by Gourmet and the Food Bank of New York, everyone from Mike Myers to Salman Rushdie turned out to check out all the one-of-a-kind lunch boxes on display. DVF’s Rock Goddess-inspired box shared display space with other creative carriers from the likes of Cameron Diaz, David Rockwell, Mario Batali, William Wegman, and Yoko Ono (to name a few). The lunch boxes are now up for auction until December 18th, with the proceeds from the sale benefiting the Lunchbox Fund, an organization that provides school lunches for children in South Africa.
