Our new neighbor

The Meatpacking District is constantly evolving and here at DVF we welcome change in the neighborhood, especially when it comes in the form of Andre Balazs’ new Standard Hotel expected to open next May. We got a sneak peak at the three hundred plus room addition to the block and couldn’t be more excited for our new neighbor! The new luxe hotel is minimalist chic but with a downtown NYC twist. It’s equipped with a restaurant that’s expected to be cool but casual with food served up by the former chef of the Lever House, several bars with floor to ceiling windows, and a lounge space overlooking the fabulous new Highline park. Best of all is the rooftop bar that boasts spectacular 360 degree views of the city so you can look out onto the Statue of Liberty as you sip your cocktail. Welcome to the neighborhood!
